Speaking of Cheetara, her character in this version besides being Tygra's love interest was being one of the last of what's known as the cleric warriors. You've really got to feel sorry for the guy because of it all, at least he's got Cheetara. Tygra has a bit of a hatred due to Lion-O being the one who'll succeed the throne instead of him, as well as indirectly killing the only mother he'd ever really known.

Yep, Tygra was actually adopted by Lion-O's dad (voiced by the original Lion-O's voice actor Larry Kenney) and his mom who died giving birth to her only biological son (ah, one of those old tropes). Now while some of you, who didn't get a chance to see the show may think that Cheetara was all for Lion-O, you'd be wrong as she actually had feelings for Tygra, Lion-O's half brother in this version. Lion-O is also shown to be kinder to other races besides cats who are mostly looked down upon by the other cats in the kingdom. Here he's portrayed as a teenager and can be a hothead but is probably the most patient of the group next to Cheetarah. Lion-O here is voiced by Will Friedle, who I'll either always remember as Batman Beyond or Ron Stoppable. So now we can talk about the characters, because wow, are these cats much cooler cats than the old cats. The Japanese studio, Studio 4☌ was responsible for the animation and you might recall seeing their work on "The Animatrix" or "Batman: Gotham Knight". The animation was one of the first things I pretty much loved when I first saw the two part pilot episode. You've got characters who live in a kingdom that seems to be all well and good, until suddenly your kingdom is attacked by an enemy you didn't quite see coming and while many die, the rest are either enslaved, or live to be the main heroes of the story. To sum up what the reboot is like, it's.kind of like Disney's "Gargoyles" but if it were set on another world, and the characters were cats. Like a lot of shows nowadays, ThunderCats seemed like one of the perfect shows to be rebooted and gave it a darker feel while also adding a lot more layers to the characters than just being your average Saturday morning cartoon character. So every week, the Thundercats would usually face off against Mumm-Ra who would either try and kill the thundercats himself or get one of his henchmen to do it for him and they would usually fail. Basically the team lineup went like this: Lion-O, leader, Tygra: science guy, Panthro: Mechanic, Cheetara: the girl one, Wilykit & Wilykat: the ones who accidentally start trouble, and Snarf: the talking cat who the cast liked, but the fans surely didn't. The main character, Lion-O, starts off as a child but for frankly bizarre reasons that aren't very well explained within the show as you might remember, Lion-O gets an adult body while still having the mind of a kid. These humanoid-like cat people have to leave their dying world and end up on an entirely new planet called Third Earth. Basically in the 1980s, the studio Rankin/Bass created one of the first shows about furries. To start off, I'll briefly discuss the original show that this version is based on. However what can't be unforgiven is what happened to two of Cartoon Network's shows, beloved by fans and canceled more than likely due to toy sales, one is probably apparent to you already but I'm here to talk about this show in particular: "ThunderCats", the 2011 reboot that got put down worse than your beloved house pet.

But when looking through the list of Cartoon Network shows, most have either had a satisfying or mostly satisfying conclusion while a few shows have been brought back to finish in different ways such as "Samurai Jack" and "Young Justice". Okay, so originally, I was going to do a controversy list similar to my Nickelodeon list.
